This was more of a test run really. Next year we shall buy duck tape and not use all my pretty colored duck tape. We will begin more than 6 hours before the race. We will have a plan! Next year... next year... oh my gosh, next year I'll be old! Maybe I won't think about next year for now. Maybe I will just enjoy the time I have with those who won't return in the fall.
I am writing every day for an entire year. Follow along through a year in my life! UPDATE: I have started in on a second year. We will see where things go from here!

Day One-Hundred and Five
Day One-Hundred and Four
Every year LeTourneau hosts a talent show during homecoming, called Hootenanny. This years theme was Brokenanny. From 7:30pm until after 10pm, we watched several acts. My favorite part was a video that was submitted to Film Fest (which was cancelled). It was called "R.G.s Got us Falling in Love Again" sooo funny! It's always a good show and I really enjoyed it! Today was a good day! No signs of Freddy or Jason, whew!

Day One-Hundred and Three

I have a friend who is looking for a home for a 10 yr. old dog named Lewis. She rescued him, but can't keep him because she already has two dogs. He is sweet, but needs to be the only dog in the house. He is being treated for heart worms and is showing great improvements. He has been vaccinated and sterilized (so no puppies in his future). If anyone would be able to give this wonderful dog a good home, please contact me. I don't want anything bad to happen, so speak up quickly if you can help.
In other news, I hate homework and am completely unmotivated to do anything.

Day One-Hundred and Two
"When you're dialing six numbers just to hang up the phone. Driving 'cross town just to see if she's home. Waking a friend in the dead of night just to hear him say, "It's gonna be all right." When you find the things to do not to fall asleep 'cause you know she'll be there in your dreams, that's when she's more than a memory!"
Would you tell I-Tunes, "No, I don't want to let you sell my music," if you had as many hits at Garth Brooks does? He said no. He told everyone no. So how do you get Garth music? Well, you can steal it or you can buy a CD. I'm not saying that CDs are a foreign concept to me, I have even had Cassette Tapes. I am just saying that in a world where everything is digital, it's odd that they are not selling digital copies of his music.
I have wanted "More Than A Memory" for a long time. On Sunday, I finally gave in and bought The Ultimate Hits 3-Disc Set. Today when I checked my mail, it had arrived! That really made my day! I already put it on my phone, so if you hear that song, it's probably playing as I walk around....

Day One-Hundred and One
The number one cause of game delay in intramurals is bad weather. Second, forfeiture by a team. Two nights I have geared up and gone out to play softball. And two nights, the games were cancelled and we only practiced. Just to mix things up, I batted left-handed. It wasn't much worse than right handed. Also, I got hit in the head by a softball. At least it was after my test! Only 13 days of class, just 36 class periods. I think I'm going to make it! ...if I can just get this marketing plan done!Monday, April 9, 2012
Day One-Hundred
What better way to celebrate 100 days of blogging than to lay on the floor and listen to music with friends? South Hall has fun people, good coffee, and random late night conversations. We finished Ultimate Frisbee tonight and then an hour later I had a softball game. The other team forfeited but we still practiced some.
Also, on a side note, I was clocked at 24 MPH on my bike by campus security (No ticket) Additionally, I slept through class this morning for the first time this semester. Sad day.
Oh, and I may have clepto tendencies..... I am babysitting a cactus.

Day Ninety-Nine
How is it even possible that my SPF is larger than the day count? I mean it's SPF 100 and we are only at day 99? Man that's a lot of protection right there! You should be proud Cecilia! Fully charged laptop? Headphones? Water bottle? Tank top? Shorts? Sandals? Cell phone? ID card? Check! Check! Check! Double Check! Check, check! Check! and Check! Off to the berm I went to work on my two-thousand word essay. My assignment is to develop a code of ethics....in 2,000 words. That's about 4 single spaced pages. I like numbers, not letters! The word count is 2,070. Without bibliography it's only 1,967. I can do this!
Day Ninety-Eight
You may be asking, "Why is the picture black?" It's not black, it's the absence of light. As in dark. As in "Murder in the Dark!" What is this mysterious game? It's kind of like "Mafia." We each draw a card and find out if we are a mafia or townsperson. Then the lights go out and we walk around in silence. Mafia kill people by grabbing their shoulder. Then when someone finds a dead body, we all come and decide who we think is mafia. The dead person and person voted off go sit on the couch. The game continues until all mafia or townspeople are dead. We played several rounds of this game tonight. It was fun. I was never mafia but people thought I was because I would chase them down the hallway.
