I am the queen of procrastination! If there was a major in it, I would have a 4.0! Today I had a paper titled, "My Philosophy of Management" due in my Principles of Management class. I started Monday night on this 5pg, double-spaced paper that needed 5 sources. Since it is worth 25% of my total grade in the class and I am on the border of getting an A, it was first priority. It was also the last class of the day, 2:20pm. I finished work on this paper at 1:22am this morning. My 8:40am class, Principles of Financial Accounting, had a test over chapters 7/8. This accounts for 15% of my total grade, so it was the second priority. I didn't study much though because I understand the material. Around 2:15am I stopped studying, satisfied that I knew enough. I think the test went well this morning.
I skipped both Microeconomics and chapel today to continue work on another paper. Introduction to Literature is at 11:45am; I printed out my paper at 11:15am. That paper wasn't started until this morning about 2:30am. I wrote a poetry analysis about Sharon Olds' "The Victims." This paper, too, was worth 15% of my total grade in the class. No sources and only 3 pages, I thought it would be easy; NO.
Between 5:00am and 6:30am I took a nap on the above pictured couch. As you can see, there is a tape measure. That is how tall I am. Even though 65 in. is 16 in. longer than the interior diameter of the couch, I slept pretty well.
How does one survive all of this? 2 Dr. Peppers, 1 Mountain Dew, 1 Monster Rojo Tea, 1 Frappucino, some Hershey's Kisses and lots of Goldfish!
If you add up all of my homework today, 25% + 15% + 15% / 600% you will see that today accounts for 9.16% of my entire GPA this semester!
