Day One-Hundred and Fifty-Four

What do a webcam and checkers have in common? Both are required to have a skype date with a friend at LSU who agreed to play checkers with you! It was a new experience for us both. I looked a little silly sitting in Starbucks by myself with a computer and checker board in front of me. Since I was using earbuds, it was almost like I was talking to myself.  Abbey beat me twice before she had to go.

Before skyping, I went to a party to welcome home my friend who spent many months in Uganda. It was great to see her and others I hadn't seen in a while! We had a wonderful time hearing about her trip and reminiscing about things we had done together many years ago. The three girls who made up the entire Sunday school group for several years have gone in three different directions but I think we will always be able to come back together. I love my friends!
