Tonight was the first Prayer and Praise of the semester! I really love Prayer and Praise! The first week is always super packed with new students. You can watch through the semester how people stop coming because the level of homework is increasing. I will admit, it does become harder to give up an hour of study time some times.
When we went to Hope Fellowship in Cedar Hill many years ago, I ran the overhead projector for the songs. In high school, I ran the powerpoint on Wednesday nights. Now, I run the overhead projector at Prayer and Praise. The only problem is that my prayer group takes a long time and I always miss at least part of the first song. Thankfully, the front row covers for me and usually no one is upset.
