I am not a party planner in most cases. I don't like spontaneous events all the time, I like knowing what is coming. But I am typically not THE planner. So, when Abbey asked me to plan a get-together for her birthday, I was taken aback. I don't know what people like to do! I know what I like to do. But pleasing 8 girls?! How was I going to do that?! Facebook it is! Unfortunately, I didn't get the response I wanted. I didn't think about it for a couple weeks, but two days ago, when I realized the party was today, I knew I had to come up with something. I couldn't let Daugherty down!
I had her come to campus (She's a commuter) and five of us loaded up into my truck. She didn't know where we were going, but she looked excited to see what I came up with. We arrived at YogurtBar and went inside. Soon after, 3 others arrived and we ate frozen yogurt! We also found a great deal of entertainment in Apples to Apples.
The party was rather simple, but I think that everyone had a good time. At least that's what they led me to believe. If not, well, I had a great time! Happy Birthday Abbey!
