LeTourneau Women: The odds are good, but the goods are odd.
LeTourneau Men: Girls are like parking spots: All the good ones are taken and the rest are either handicapped or way out there.
The
Student Foundation had a fundraiser tonight. DATER DASH! Speed dating has come to LeTourneau! Oh goodness. I think that most people were too scared or embarrassed to buy a ticket. I wasn't though. $5 for dinner on a Sunday and a fun experience?! Sign me up! About 30 students or so showed up for the event. Shockingly, it was almost an even amount of girls to guys. We socialized for a bit and then spoke with each guy for 3 minutes. It was entertaining to say the least. Then we had yummy home-cooked food. We finished out the night with games and a door-prize drawing. I hope that more people will go next year! It was really fun and only moderately awkward. It helps that I am an outgoing person though!
And in response to the question I am sure you are all wondering, "No. I did not get any numbers or find a guy I really liked."
