Day Three-Hundred and Twenty-One

Some things never change.

  • When I am in Decatur, I typically don't tell anyone for one thing.
  • I usually end up driving to Denton with my mom.
  • Lunch may be picked up in Denton or I pick something up with my mom's money in Decatur.
  • The couch has always been a friend when I needed a nap.
  • Additionally, my mom usually needs some form of technological help.
  • Any extra time that I have is spent at the library.
So can you guess how I spent my first day home?

On the other hand, somethings always change.
For instance, roommates. My sister and I shared a room as children, but when we moved to Decatur, we each had our own rooms. So for almost 8 years I had my own space. Then I spent two years with the amazing Alex. This semester I found Jenneth and we have been good. She has the opportunity of a lifetime to study in Costa Rica next semester. Where does that leave me? Without a roommate. So I have had this notion in my head since she told me she was leaving. But today I got a text from a friend. My friend is looking for a roommate. So, like I said, some things always change.
