Day One-Hundred and Twenty-Nine

My plans for summer have shifted multiple times. I signed up to work a cushy job of data entry inside an air conditioned building with minimal physical labor. However, that position is not currently possible because the software is not ready. Instead, I have found a job working with awesome people painting apartments that less cool people destroyed. Perhaps destroyed is too strong of a word, but I must say that I was shocked at how gross the apartments had grown.

After cooking 6lbs($20-1.5 hrs) of bacon, I had to clean the kitchen. The mess I made in one night helps me to understand how they could make their mess in a year. But here's the difference, I cleaned mine up! Mom, you would be so proud of me! The jar from the spaghetti sauce last night served as the bacon grease receptacle tonight. I filled it up and then we still had about 8 oz more of bacon grease. So much bacon!
