Day One-Hundred and Seventy-Five

Do you see that nice, clean cut yard? I like it!!! In the style of my mother, boots, jeans, long-sleeve cotton shirt, leather gloves, sunglasses, and huge ugly wide brimmed hat made up my wardrobe for cutting the lawn today. No need for sunscreen when your body is completely covered! But with that much on and it being summer and the middle of the day, I was super thirsty. I drank 2 gatorades and at least 3 bottles of water in the time I was out there. Starting the lawnmower with a bike lock key made me feel smart. But replacing the string on a weed whacker I've never used before made me feel genius! I did most of the weed whacking before running out of fuel; since it said something about no 85 I decided to put it away. A push-mower style weed whacker may seem easier, but I bet the other style is better. Either way, the lawn is mowed and the carcass of the dead dog I found has been buried. I think dad will be happy to see the pretty lawn when he comes home on Monday! I watered the trees a little too, so hopefully the lawn will look nice.
