The Auto Society had an Open House tonight out on the South side of campus at their shop. It was pretty legit. We had pizza, got to check out the shop, watched a truck-pull-fail, smelled nasty burnouts, and watched a monster truck drive over a beat up Chevette.
Tim has told me that I should pledge to Auto Society several times. I thought about it once, but honestly don't think I could commit the time to it. I would love to be able to work on cars, but right now, it feels like I would be taking an extra class just so I could learn how to fix cars. I was told that in order to pledge you have to work for all the guys in the garage. Not really sure if I would ever want to pledge, I think it would be super cool, but still not really sure.
