Our last full day of work included much painting. I painted Maria’s room pink; it looked like pepto. Jesus’ room was a very pretty blue color. The parent’s had a rich, dark red colored room. The kitchen, living room and hallway were a dark green color. After sports camp ended the children came to “help.” After dinner, we went back to continue working. I used a jigsaw for the first time! It was very empowering, as was the electric drill. We made Maria a butterfly bed and Jesus a Transformers Truck bed. The boys who were working on the floor stayed to nearly midnight putting in the vinyl tiles. It will be sad to leave tomorrow.
