Day One-Hundred and Forty-Two

My mother texted me, "Congratulations!!!" I thought she read yesterday's blog and was proud of me for learning to drive stick. When I called her soon after, she informed me that my dad had received an email from Janet Ragland saying that I had made the Dean's List! I was confused. How come the school doesn't send me an email but they send an email to my parents and to three newspapers?! Aren't there privacy laws? How come the info is kept from me but distributed to others? That seems backwards to me.

I talked about my cumulative GPA on Day One-Hundred and Twenty-Three, but I forgot that this semester's GPA was 3.83. I guess if I knew what the requirements for Dean's List were, I could have figured out that I made it. However, I rarely think of these things because I don't expect them. I don't know if WCMessenger will print my name in the paper, but if they do, I'll put it on here.
