You may have heard about happy hour at Sonic. I call it, "a cheap reason to have a Vanilla Dr. Pepper." When you are in a workplace with a decently small number of employees, it is hard to get yourself a drink or just two people without someone asking, "where's mine?" Today after Summer Reading Club had Mad Science preform, we got lunch and brought back drinks for everyone. Of all the three-hundred some-odd thousand drinks that they could have ordered, everyone had something plain. Two plain cokes! Come on people, you only live once! Mix it up! I had a cranberry limeade which was pretty tasty.
Of course when you order seven drinks, you have to keep track of what goes to who. Luckily, the nice workers at Sonic bothered to press the buttons on the lids. So, it wasn't too hard to figure out what was what. Something I have noticed is that, generally, Coke is a lighter color than Dr. Pepper. I thought I would share that with you in case you ever are trying to tell them apart.
