Day One-Hundred and Sixty-Eight

Remember when you were a little kid and your mom made you clean your room? What about the day you cleaned it without being asked to? The times she made you clean it you probably drug your feet and crammed stuff in your closet or under the bed like I did. I don't remember what went through my head the day I cleaned it without being asked though. Somewhere along the way she didn't have to ask anymore. It was just understood that if you couldn't see the floor, there was a problem.
I haven't been able to see my floor since I moved back in over 3 weeks ago. Since then, I've gone through several stages with my room.
First: It's not that bad. I can totally get around and it's great having all my stuff in here.
Second: I have too much stuff! Why am I living like a hoarder?! This is ridiculous!
Third: I'll wash my clothes! That will help, right?
Fourth: I don't even want to go in there. The mess just makes me sad.
Fifth: I have to clean it eventually, why wait? I can do this!
Side note: I would like to point out that there is a difference in organizing and cleaning.

Everything that filled my room, except the bed, came out into the nice clean living room. Then, I proceeded to dust my room and vacuum it. Living with 4 humans and 3 cats, a lot of dust accumulates. Putting everything back took a while because I wanted to reorganize my room. Tomorrow, I am going to go through and sort out the piles of papers and see what I can throw away. Uncluttering my room is like taking off a heavy backpack, a weight is lifted. After my room is clean I guess I can start on my closet....

Mom and Dad are doing great! They traveled to a new place and were relaxing when I spoke to them tonight. Continued prayers are appreciated!
