Day One-Hundred and Seventy-Six

Shiny huh? Well it ought to be after the 5 hours I spent cleaning it! First I drove it out to the street so I wouldn't make a huge puddle in the yard. Next, I hand washed it 2 sq. ft. at a time because it was so hot today that the soapy water was drying in about 30 seconds. The wheels almost sparkle now, so I was happy for that. After letting it sit for a bit, I backed it up by the house and vacuumed out every nook and cranny. I found $1.04 in change that will be returned to my dad. The only way I could stand the heat was to have all the doors open. Next, I took a rag and wiped down all the doors down. I went through three buckets of water because there was so much dirt. Not inside the car, nor on the outside. That part in-between the outside and inside where no one sees unless the door is open, that is a part that I never see anyone clean, but I decided that it was worth washing. The windows and interior had a quick wipe and then I did a quick scan before calling it quits. I hope he likes it, because I worked really hard to make it nice. April wouldn't let me put an air freshener in there though.

Hahahaha, in the bottom left corner you can see my shadow when I took the picture!

  1. Thank you, Jamee!!! You did a super, great, and wonderful job!!! I don't want to drive it to work because I don't want to get it dirty, but how can I show it off if I don't go to the office. Oh well, I'll try to be careful. At least there will be no rain puddles. I love you. {:O) Daddy
