I talk to people my age who have been to maybe two or three weddings ever. This was the case for one of the bridesmaids at the last wedding I was in. She had never been to an American wedding actually, not a single one yet she was being an excellent bridesmaid! Myself, I have been to countless weddings and this is the second time to have been in a wedding. Being a bridesmaid means helping the bride with all things wedding, it also means helping with the bachelorette party. Some people like quiet and modest parties. Others like the risqué and wild parties. We chose a more modest route for Alex. I have to say that I was very happy with my fruit salad and froggy cupcakes!
April is really into baking cakes these days and I kind of get it. I like to be in the kitchen if I know what I am doing. If I am trying something new, it stresses me out a little. Considering how few things I can actually cook, it usually is something new. Have I ever told you that after I watched "Ratatouille", "No Reservations" and "Julie and Julia" I really wanted to be a chef?? I just dislike too many foods to cook professionally. Although, I could probably still be a baker!
