Day Two-Hundred and Six

It's week 6 of the summer reading club and Sharon wasn't here to help with prizes today. I helped hold down the fort though. Sharon and I always have a good time hanging out between shows and rushes of children seeking prizes. She is on vacation though and won't be back until after the last week. Sad day! I guess it's just me and the other volunteers.

The entertainment today was Dinosaur George. Talking with him before the show really made me want to be a paleontologist. It would be so fun! Realistically, I would never do it, but now I understand how young impressionable minds get filled with notions that digging up bones would be a great job and that is why we have people that enjoy finding fossils. On a side note: I was very excited to meet someone who shared my opinion about when the world was formed. I don't know when it all started and it doesn't matter. It's not worth arguing about either.
