I sat down today to write several posts because I am over a week behind! I did a few and then got distracted like I always do. It seems like I am always several days behind. I have had no consistency this summer and no schedule. Every day is different, but not uber exciting. Sometimes it is hard to remember back to what I did because nothing about it was memorable. Also my memory is unreliable. Not every day at school is memorable or exciting, but I do have a schedule. There is some consistency to my days and weeks. I never got more than 3 days behind if you don't count the mission trip over spring break which I wasn't at school for anyway!
This blog was going to help me stay committed to something for a year. I was going to keep track of my life for an entire year and I could keep people informed even if we were apart. I guess it's not over yet, I am not giving up.
I can't wait to get back to school and have some form of consistency in my life. Two years ago I was not excited about leaving my life in Decatur. I thought it was the best I could get and thought that if I left I would be unhappy. Obviously, I got past it and have loved college! Today I said, "See ya later," to a friend for the third time! She almost cried but I told her not to because I will always come visit! It's not easy saying bye when I've seen her every week this summer. Love you Becky!
