Day Two-Hundred and Twenty

Ever since my mom got her car, the left rear window has not rolled down. Because it has been so hot, I decided I would fix the window so we could have more air flow through the car. Online, I found instructions and a video of how to remove the door panel. I used many different tools and learned what a torx screwdriver looks like. Once the panel was off and the motor exposed, I began to undo the mounting screws. The last one was very difficult and I needed an adapter for the socket wrench. Oh no, I dropped it and it's rolling under the car. Reach! Hooray I caught it! *Sits up* AHHHHHHH! I had hit my face on a protruding part of the door. With fear, I put my hand on my face. It felt warm. I frantically went to the front door and ring the bell several times very quickly. Opening the door, my mother shrieked. Surely there must be blood all over my face! No, no there wasn't. My face was fine. A small abrasion in the crease of my eye (where people get crow's feet). After many tears, I returned to the car and removed the motor.

Autozone sold me a motor and I took it back to install. It worked, so I put the door back together. Head held high with pride for the work I had done, I showed my mom. She was thrilled! To my dismay that was't enough. Now she wanted me to look at the fuse box. After looking at the fuse box and the relay, I told her that everything was normal and should be functioning. I still had some time, so I took off the whole dashboard. There wasn't much to do, so I closed it back up and moved the car out of the garage to her parking spot. As I drove, I realized that there was cool air blowing. Something I did caused the A/C to work!

The irony is that I wanted to cool the car off by opening the window and now the A/C cools the car!
