Have you ever seen a "Rube Goldberg" project? The idea is to have as many things take place before a simple task is accomplished. Like a dozen triggers and processes happen and then the last thing flips a switch and the light is turned on. Senior electrical engineers have a competition based off this each spring semester.
Sometimes we look at something that is happening in life and ask, "Why is this happening?" or "What good could possibly come from this?" Many times, we have to look back long afterwards to see that that crazy thing put us in the right place at the right time to meet someone who we really needed in our life at a certain moment. If something happened too soon or didn't happen at all, the whole project would be thrown off. Ask any electrical engineer and they will tell you that it is nerve wrecking to set up their project because if anything is triggered early, it may not work later on. Life is so complex and intricate that we cannot grasp all the details of it. I am just thankful that God knows what is going on and He is able to handle it. He has placed very special people in my life that have had an incredible impact on my life. Thank you God for friends!
