Day Two-Hundred and Eighty-One

Timing is everything.

I thought that I would wake up early, we would do something fun this morning, and then I would head back to school. However, when I awoke at 10am, Cecilia was still asleep. But rest is a good thing. We went  to Cafe Brazil for breakfast which was very delicious! Smores hot chocolate is the bomb! I left rather late, but I had a great time with my "adopted parents."

I (almost) always stop at Starbucks in Terrell for coffee coming from or going home. When I arrived today, the line was incredibly long! I couldn't believe it! I was going to have to wait a whole fifteen minutes for coffee. Can you say "First World Problems!"? This unexpected delay was part of the plan though. Afterwards, I went to get gas but got in the wrong lane and had to go to a different station. To my frustration, the pump I pulled up to was broken. I started to back away until I saw the maintenance man beckon me. I pulled back up and he told me to start pumping gas. About a minute later, I had $1 of gas; that's all! He began to fix the machine. By the end of it, he had paid for 3/4 of a tank (18 gallons) of super gas for my truck. Just a reminder that things (long lines) happen for a reason.
