I thought my parents came to see me because I didn't go home for Fall Break. They love their sweet daughter right? No! They actually came to SFA for homecoming weekend. I was just close by, so they visited me. The didn't make it to the bonfire last night sadly. Today, they went to the football game and I started a craft project for a friend. It is more expensive and more time consuming than I ever imagined!
Tonight, my parents came back to Longview to have dinner with me. I picked Outback Steakhouse because they have amazing "Bloomin' Onions!" It was great except for my severely under-cooked teriyaki medallions. Why would you serve someone rare meat when they asked for medium-well?
It didn't occur to me until later that my parents met at the homecoming bonfire at SFA 30 years ago. Aww, isn't that sweet!? It was great to see them!
